About the house

In early 2024, a remarkable opportunity arose: to contribute my sustainable design expertise to the space industry. It was a new world, yet I felt an immediate connection, a sense of belonging I hadn't anticipated. The collaboration with brilliant minds, the rapid understanding of complex concepts, felt like a dream realized.

That dream, however, was tragically cut short. It was a devastating blow, and a moment that demanded the strength of family. Seeking solace and support, I made the decision to move to Salt Lake City, purchasing a 1925 Craftsman Bungalow on a mixed-use property, in neighborhood close to my kinfolk.

I named it "The Eclipse House," a quiet nod to that brief, intense period of working within the space sector. Portraits of pioneering women in space can be found throughout the home, their stories a constant source of inspiration, a reminder of uncharted territories.

The Eclipse House logo, a luna moth in the foreground of an eclipse, represents a personal cycle of transformation, a symbol of finding beauty and purpose after a period of significant change. The Eclipse House is a space built on resilience, a place where unexpected transitions can lead to new beginnings.
